Un samedi à 서울

Deuxième évènement du weekend, la sortie à Seoul pour aller voir le match de foot FC 서울 (Seoul) contre le LA Galaxy.
Après une courte nuit (enfin 6h quand même !) nous voilà partis (Thomas, Nico, Franck, Gael et moi) pour 서울 (Seoul). Après nos deux petites heures de bus et les nombreuses marques de voitures récitées par Gael et Thomas, nous voilà arrivés. Direction le restaurant indien que Sunny m'a conseillé quelques jours auparavant. Au final, un bon buffet à volonté pour pas trop cher, sûrement le restaurant le plus chic où on est allé en Corée aussi ! Après s'être bien rempli la panse, nous sommes allé rejoindre Nico (pas le même !) au 서울 월드컵 경기장 (Seoul World Cup Stadium). On rejoint nos places, le stade est pas trop rempli mais on est un peu en avance donc on attend patiemment le début du match.

Second event of the weekend, the football match : FC 서울 (Seoul) against LA Galaxy.
After a short night (6 hours) here we are, (Thomas, Nico, Franck, Gael et moi) on our way to 서울 (Seoul). After two hours of journey and many car brands listed by Gael and Thomas, we finally arrived in 서울 (Seoul). Then, we headed towards the Indian restaurant that Sunny recommended me a few days ago. We found a very nice and cheap all-you-can-eat buffet, certainly the smartest restaurant we went to in Korea also ! After eating-all-we-could, we went to meet Nico (the other one !) at 서울 월드컵 경기장 (Seoul World Cup Stadium). We got to our seats, the stadium was not so full but we were a bit early so we had to wait for the kick-off.



Le match commence, pas un grand niveau malgré un bon Beckham en première mi-temps. Mais bon la configuration du stade nous a permis de pouvoir laisser nos places et de rejoindre les supporters du FC 서울 (Seoul). Une bonne petite ambiance, des chants de supporters en coréen que certain(s) pour ne pas citer Franck ont essayé de chanter et à la fin du temps règlementaire un petit 1-1 (avec un penalty quelque peu discutable au profit du FC 서울). Match amical peut-être, mais il y a quand même un trophée à attribuer, c'est pourquoi nous avons tout de même eu le droit à un séance de tirs-au-but. Au final, du côté des Galaxy, seul Beckham trouve le chemin du but (Si seulement il avait pu faire ça à l'Euro 2004 aussi ...). Et c'est donc sur un score de 2-1 aux tirs-au-but que le FC 서울 remporte ce match.



The game starts, not a very high level despite quite nice plays by Beckham during the first half. Anyway, the stadium layout allowed us to join the FC 서울 supporters. Nice atmosphere, supporter songs in Korean that some of us, not to mention Franck, tried to sing along, and at the end of the 90 minutes 1-1 (including a doubtful penalty kick for FC 서울). Friendly match maybe, but there still is a trophy to award, that's why we had the chance to see penalty shout-outs. At the end, only Beckham managed to score his for the Galaxy (if only he could have done this during the European championship in 2004...). It's with a final score of 2-1 that the FC 서울 wins the match.



Comme personne (à part Franck) n'était vraiment très motivé par l'idée de sortir à 서울 (Seoul), et qu'une opportunité de sortie au ski le lendemain se présente, nous décidons de rentrer sur 대전 (Daejeon). Petite journée sympathique, ça faisait longtemps que je n'étais pas allé à un match de foot et pour une première dans un stade coréen c'était plutôt agréable !



As no one (excluding Franck) was really in the mood for a night out in 서울 (Seoul), and as there was a skiing opportunity for the following day, we decided to go back to 대전 (Daejeon). Nice day out, it had been a long time since I went to a football match so for a first time in a Korean stadium, it was quite pleasant !
